Smriti Mandhana is now the No.1 ranked ODI batter after a strong performance in the recent tri-series.She surpassed Laura Wolvaardt and also holds the fourth spot in T20I rankings.
Smriti Mandhana is again the leader of the ICC ODI batting ranking. It was her first top-one in 2019. Her recent shows contributed to the accumulation of 727 rating points by her.
England Natalie Sciver-Brunt has 719 and is now second. Laura Wolvaardt of South Africa is also on 719 points but drops to the third position because of the lower average. She has lost rating points by only registering 27 and 28 points against West Indies.
Mandhana has been in full move in the latest tri-series in Colombo. In the last game against Sri Lanka and South Africa she registered a brilliant century. The century came in the 11 th century of her career in ODI cricket.
The outcome of this match assisted her to surpass Wolvaardt in the rankings. Mandhana has been on the top 10 quite a while. However, it has been more than six years before she could regain her position at the top.
