After getting a spot in the final thanks to the eliminator, Ashwin jokingly said Mumbai Indians were always lucky.
The Rajasthan Royals beat the Mumbai Indians by 20 runs in their Eliminator match in IPL 2025 which allowed them to move on to Qualifier 2. Ravichandran Ashwin, the off-spinner, delivered 3 excellent wickets giving away only 24 runs on May 30th when the match was held at Mullanpur.
Following the match, Ashwin drew attention because of his great bowling as well as his honest talks. In a humorous but clear statement, he joked, "Mumbai Indians are always fortunate," discussing the team’s skill at coming out on top in close matches and catching happy breaks. The Rajasthan Royals and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru will fight in Qualifier 2 on June 1 at Ahmedabad. If they win, the team will go to the IPL 2025 final, where they can win the title of IPL champion.
