BCCI Tightens Grip on IPL Camp Content After CSK Net Bowler’s Viral Videos
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly intensified its monitoring of social media activity during the ongoing IPL season after a controversy involving a net bowler from Chennai Super Kings surfaced online.
Delhi-based wrist-spinner Jishan Adil, who has been training as a net bowler with the franchise, claimed on social media that the team management asked him to remove several bowling videos recorded from inside the CSK practice camp. The clips had recently gone viral among IPL fans for showing behind-the-scenes training sessions and competitive net battles involving CSK batters.
According to screenshots and reports circulating online, Adil posted an Instagram story saying that although the videos received massive support and quickly gained traction, the franchise later instructed him to take them down from his account.

One BCCI source quoted in multiple reports claimed that a former international cricketer working in broadcasting was seen recording videos near a dugout during a tense match situation, prompting concerns within the board.
