The fans pushed each other from behind, causing the event to get out of control. A lot of people became trapped on the wet pavement. While trying to get away from the crowd, some got hurt. Officials certified that at least five people died as a result of the stampede. Nearly thirty others were taken to medical facilities for care. Some people are facing serious health issues.
